“Fresher’s day celebrations” was conducted for the academic year of 2021-2022of I & II B.Tech of EEE in association with ESCON Body on 11th March 2022. Firstly the second year students welcomed their juniors to the event and Dr.B.Dasu(HoD,I/C) of EEE addressed the students and he taught some moral values and how to mould themselves in a professional manner in the college.After that Dr.M.Siva Kumar(Professor & Mentor(AS&A)) of EEE addressed the students that how electrical engineers can change the world with their innovative minds and he told students how to plan for examinations to get good score.Later on Dr L.R.Srinivas(Professor) of EEE addressed the gathering and he told how to be placed in Campus Placements,how to maintain attendance in the college. Lastly Dr.G.V.S.N.R.V Prasad (Principal) of SRGEC addressed the gathering by telling some moral values and how to be inculcate themselves to innovative technology.
After the completion of addressing by the dignatoriessome sort of entertaining events were conducted for the students by the student organisers . Wonderful performances like funny Skits,Dances, Singing ,Funny tasks were held .All the first years &second year students perfomed well and entertained the gathering.Tasks were given to the first year students by Second year students and all the first year students introduced themselves and moved friendly with the second year students.And the event was winded up with the National Anthem .And Second year students presented Gift Hampers to the Freshers.Later on all the students were given Refreshments from the Department of EEE.
