Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with IEEE Power & Energy Society Student Branch Chapter has organized a two-day workshop on “ELECTRICAL VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY”. It was conducted for the students of III B. Tech EEE during 26th September to 28th September 2022. Resource persons are from Vihaan Electrix and team, Visakhapatnam with their infrastructure. The workshop is coordinated by Mr. Md. Rafi Khan, Associate Professor of EEE. Students learnt dismantling and assembling Electric vehicles. They got hands on experience in Controllers, Battery Management Systems, EV Advancements, Motors etc. The chief resource person Mr. N. Venkat Reddy emphasized the scope of Indian EV sector. Dr. G. V. S. N. R. V. Prasad, Principal, SRGEC along with Vice Principal administration Dr. P. Kodanda Rama Rao and Dr. M. R. Ch. Sastry, Vice Principal Academics, and HOD EEE Dr. B. Dasu distributed participation certificates after the workshop in the valedictory ceremony.
